Home series against India on December 2013, Quinton scored 135 runs against India in his home ground in Johannesburg, his great innings led his team to a 14 run victory and Quinny was awarded his first ever “Man of The Match” title in ODI cricket. Quinny was giving the great performance with another successive ODI ton in the upcoming next match in Durban against India. Quinton made 106 runs and making a record-breaking opening of 194 runs in Durban with fellow player Hashim Amla, who also scored a century in that match.

Due to Quinny’s brilliant performance his again awarded the title of Man of the Match and South Africa has won the series beating India by 134 runs. In the third ODI match Quinton again broke a century knock of 101 runs, match was later abandoned due to rain, but Quinton De Kock became only the 5 th person to achieve this feat of 3 consecutive centuries in ODIs after Zaheer Abbas, Saeed Anwar (Pakistan), Herschelle Gibbs and AB De Villiers. Quinton also became the highest rain getter ever in the 3 game of bilateral One Day internationals, breaking previous record of Martin Guptill. Quinny also awarded by the Man of the Series.

Quinton scored his 5 th ODI century against Sri Lanka and he scored 128 runs, in this tour Quinny showed his great performances and he maintained his full conversion rate of half century in a match, he also scored his maiden test 50 in this series.

In august 2014, he eventually became joint quickest batsman to get 100 runs in the One Day internationals cricket match, Quinton sharing the record with Viv Richards, Jonathan Trott and Kevin Pietersen. In February 204, Quinton made his test debut against Australia at St George& 39;s Oval in Port Elizabeth, in his first inning he scored seven runs and in the second inning he made 34 runs.

In the Player Auction on 3 rd February 2013, Quinton was bought for $20,000 by Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 2013 IPL season. Quinton was failed to impress in Indian Premier League, he could not performed well in this season for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
